Online Therapy
Online therapy is an option if you prefer to meet via phone or video. For video sessions, I’ll provide you with a HIPAA compliant video link. You’ll also have access to a client portal through Carepatron for scheduling and filling out payment information and additional forms.

I recommend finding a comfortable, private, and well-lit space (for video) with reliable internet access from which to have sessions.

Additionally, I can only provide online therapy to residents in the state of California.

Online Therapy Tips
To help you stay present and focused on your healing journey
1. Find a private space
-
This could be a bedroom, parked car, laundry room, or any place in your home with privacy.

2. Consider using earbuds or headphones
-
This will help reduce noise and echo as well as add a layer of privacy.

3. Find a well-lit space
-
Sit by a window or have a lamp near your face to allow your therapist to see you and not just your silhouette.

4. Test your connection & audio
-
Technical disruptions using an online platform are likely to happen, so, check your internet connection and test your audio prior to session to avoid some of of these issues at the beginning.

5. Get comfy!
-
An advantage of doing online therapy is being in the comfort of your own home. Bring what makes you feel safe, perhaps a beverage of your choice and a fidget item.
